Gregory Thomas Simpkins 59, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Gregory was born December 3, 2023 in Kentucky to Phyllis Fleming and Charles Simpkins Sr. He made his living as an auto mechanic. Gregory enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be deeply missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Preceding Gregory in death was his father, Charles Simpkins Sr. and his granddaughter, Jordyn Simpkins.

The Funeral will be at 7:00 pm Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Friendship Baptist Church, 3232 Davis Street, Hope Mills, NC. Pastor Hayes, officiating. Visitation will take place 6:00-7:00 pm, one hour prior to the service.

Those left to cherish the memory of Gregory are his children: Kelly Simpkins of Arkansas, Taylor Davidson of Roanoke Rapids, Tommy Simpkins of Roanoke Rapids, and Victoria Simpkins of Spring Lake; his mother: Phyllis Simpkins of Tennessee; brother: Charles Simpkins Jr. of Fayetteville; and nine grandchildren.
