Glenda Mae Mimms Robinson Moore was born on March 31, 1961 to the late Frank and Mary Mimms. She departed this life for an eternity of rest and reward on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Olivet Institutional Baptist Church, 537 McKoy St, Clinton, NC 28328. Burial will follow in Sandhill Cemetery, located at 3 Sampson St., Clinton, NC 28328.

Visitation will be 2:00-6:00 pm, with family present 5:00-6:00 pm, on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.

Glenda lived in North Carolina and received her early education from the Sampson County School System. She was a member of Olivet Institutional Baptist Church of Clinton, NC. Prior to her passing she was a resident at Mary Gran Nursing Home of Clinton, NC.

Glenda is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Moore; two brothers, Emmeritt Mimms and Charles Mimms; four sisters, Cathy Williams, Melva Underwood, Sallie Gillis, and Pearline Wilson.

Glenda leaves to cherish her memory, two daughers: Shalonda Robinson and Takeshia Robinson, both of Clinton, NC; three grandsons: Zeonta Mimms, Z’Elliott Draughon, and Alexander McLean Jr., all of Clinton, NC; one granddaughter: Zakaryia Draughon of Clinton, NC; three sisters: Debbie Beard of Clinton, NC, Diane Pickney of Florida, and Malissa Joyce Mimms of Alaska; two brothers: Edward Mimms of Clinton, NC and Roy Mimms (Mary) of Florida; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.
