Fredrick Ervin Moirs, Jr

Fredrick Moirs 63, formerly of Fort Fairfield, ME and currently residing in Dunn, NC, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, October 5, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his wife, Victoria Moirs and loved ones.

There will be no funeral services held, though a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. For those who would like to contribute in memory of Fred, please make donations to the American Cancer Society or the Children's Miracle Network.

Fred was born in Presque Isle, ME on January 3, 1962, the son of the late Fredrick Sr. and Barbara Moirs. Fred and Victoria were married on February 17, 1996 in Preque Isle, ME.

Fred 'Farmboy', drove a truck for Wal-Mart Transportation from June 12, 2000 until his passing. Fred started his career in Raymond, NH and ended his career in Hope Mills, NC after 25 years and 2.6 million accident free miles. He also drove trucks for several other companies prior to Wal-Mart Transportation.

Fred never knew a stranger. He loved making people laugh, or offering to help any way he could. He loved riding motorcycles, 4 wheelers, and going camping. He also loved the Lord and in light of his illness, he so looked forward to his eternal home.

He is pre-deceased by his parents, Fredrick Sr. and Barbara Moirs, as well as sister and brother-in-law, Robbin and Leo McDougal.

Fred is survived by his wife, Victoria Moirs (Kennedy); siblings: Shelly Prouly and husband, Walter, Chuck Moirs, Darcie Moirs, brother-in-law: Jay Kennedy and wife, Karen; mother and father-in-law, James and Frances Kennedy; along with several nieces and nephews.
