Ennis Fay Dian Autry

Mrs. Ennis Fay Dian Autry 67, of 1601 Autry Hwy. in Roseboro, passed away on Wednesday April 27, 2022 at her home.

Dian was born in Sampson County on December 13, 1954 to the late Lester Tanner and Zelda Mae Owens. She was a loyal employee of Smithfield Packing Co. for 48 years. Dian was married to her high school sweetheart, Jerry for nearly 50 years. She loved to collect pig figurines and adored spending time with her grandchildren. Dian was a loving wife, mother and friend to many who were not her own children. Her backdoor was always open for anyone that needed a cup of coffee, a meal, or just an ear to listen. She loved her cats and dogs dearly. Dian loved her family and friends more than anything and would not want anyone to be sad during this time. She would encourage everyone to come together and celebrate her life.

Dian is preceded in death by her parents Lester and Zelda Mae Tanner.

There will be a Graveside Service held at 2:00 pm Sunday May 1, 2022 at Haney Family Cemetery located at 1551 Autry Hwy. Roseboro, NC 28382. Pastor Greg Smith officiating.

Dian leaves behind her husband Jerry Ray Autry of the home; her children Michael Autry of Clinton and Terry-Diane Autry of Roseboro; brother Robert Tanner of Roseboro; sisters Vivian Haney of Roseboro and Silvia McLamb of Clinton; and three grandchildren, Jacy Pait, Paisley Autry and Jaxon Rattliff. She also leaves behind her many fur babies.
