Mr. Ellis G Aman Sr. 79, of Dunn, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Rolling Ridge Assisted Living in Newton Grove.

Ellis was born in Sampson County on July 27, 1945 to the late Raeford Aman and Lida Raynor. Ellis served his country as a member of the United States Navy and later went on to work in home repairs. In his down time Ellis found joy in his favorite hobbie, fishing. 

The family will hold a Celebration of Ellis's Life at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 15 at the home of his son, Glenn, 2123 Timothy Rd., Dunn, NC 28334. There will be an hour of visitation prior to the service, 12:00-1:00 pm. 

Preceding Ellis in passing is his sibling, Joseph Aman. 

Left to cherish the memory of Ellis are his son: Glenn Aman Jr. (Carol) of Dunn, NC; siblings: Billy Aman, Kenneth Aman, Michael Aman, and Linwood Aman, all of Clinton, NC; and grandchildren: Garrett Aman of Clinton, NC, Taylor Aman Murray (Ryan) of Four Oaks, NC, and Ethan Aman of Dunn, NC.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to all of the staff at Gentiva Hospice and Rolling Ridge Assisted Living for their care and efforts to ensure Ellis's comfort.
