Edward Lane Williams

Edward Lane Williams 60 of 2214 Autry Hwy. Roseboro passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Valley Hospice in Fayetteville.

Edward was born March 24, 1960 in Sampson County to the late Willie A. Williams and Martha L. Smith. Edward enjoyed hunting in his spare time and he loved to joke. He could always keep you laughing. More than anything Edward loved his family dearly. 

A Graveside service will take place at 4:00 pm on Friday, August 22, 2025 in the Williams Family Cemetery located at 205 Williams Lane, off of Hayne Stretch Rd in Roseboro, NC.

In addition to his loving parents, Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Becky Williams; brothers, Johnny Williams and Eugene Williams; and his sisters, Faye Faircloth and Diane Tyndall.

Edward's memory will live on through those loved ones he leaves behind. He is survived by his loving children: Jessica Fye (Michael) of Roseboro, Rodney Williams (Maloree) of Wrightsville, and Justin Williams (Brittney) of Wilmington; his sister: Betty Bullard of Roseboro; grandchildren: Karli Fye, Tyler Fye, Tayler Fye, Camren, Summerlynn, Penelope, Saelor, Grayson, Addison Lane, and Gracelynn Williams; and one great-grandchild: Jace Ezzell.
