Dorothy (Williams) Mclean

Dorothy Williams McLean 86, of 401 North Pine Street died Sunday June 19, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Health in Fayetteville.

Dorothy was born December 7, 1935 to Mary Howard and Sloan Carol. She attended school at Charles E. Perry and was a graduate of the class of 1952. Dorothy worked as a teacher and a cook for a number of years until she retired. She was very involved in her church and was "Mother of Church" Spirit Flame of Fire Outreach Recovery Ministry and had affiliations with The Temple of God as well as Victory & Deliverance Center. She loved her Coca Cola, was very outgoing and didn't know a stranger. She enjoyed sharing scripture and the word of God with anyone she met.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her mother Mary Howard and father Sloan Carol, three of her children, and a number of her siblings. 

Home Going Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday June 23, 2022 at Temple of God located in Roseboro,NC. Bishop Andrew Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Hill Crest Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:00-5:00 pm on Wednesday June 22, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328.

Left to cherish the memory of Dorothy are her two daughters Mary Dixon of the home and Apostle Cora Frink of Fayetteville as well as her siblings.
