Delia Carol Pate 58, of 320 Billie Britt Road passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024, at her home.

Delia was born in Wayne County to the Late Henry Marshall Pate Sr. and surviving wife Erma Myers Pate.

Delia was the family manager of not just one household but two, she held them together. Delia’s hobbies included shopping, crafting and spending time with family, but there was nothing more she loved than spending time with her grand babies. 

Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Fellowship Church of God located at 3304 US 117, Rose HiIl, NC 28458. Burial will follow in the Pate Family Cemetery, 244 Billie Britt Rd., Turkey, NC 28393.

Visitation will be held prior to the service within the chapel, 12:00 pm-2:00 pm. The family will also be receiving family and friends other times at the home.

Delia was preceded in death by her sister Carolyn D. Pate.

Delia is survived by her husband of 36 years Kenneth E. Pate of the home and two sons Jason E. Pate of Turkey and Jonathan R. Pate and wife Katie of Turkey,  grandchildren Gracelynn A. Pate, Kinslee B. Pate and Hallie R. Pate of Turkey, sister Tammie Hill and husband Roger A. Hill of Wayne county, brother Henry Marshall Pate Jr. of Wayne county along with three nephews two nieces and one great niece and three great nephews. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service to help cover funeral expenses.
