Connie Gail (Patrick) Goodman 68, of Brent Lane in Clinton, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.

Funeral Service will take place 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. Burial will follow in the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, 1165 Mt Moriah Church Rd, Clinton, NC 28328.

Visitation will be held the hour prior to the service, 1:00-2:00 pm, in the Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel. The family will also receive friends other times at the home, 156 Brent Ln., Clinton, NC.

Connie or "Gail", as most people knew her, was born in Lumberton, NC on June 9, 1957 to the late Marguriette Brewington and the late James Wesley Patrick. She was a retired caretaker and a member of GreaterOmni Deliverance Church of Elizabethtown, NC, where she served as Armor Bearer. Gail loved the Lord and enjoyed reading her Bible and studying God's word. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. 

In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by one sister, Priscilla Patrick and one brother, Sheldon Patrick.

Gail is survived by her long time companion, Ray Lassiter of Magnolia, NC; 5 children: Kimberly Harris (Dwight) of Suffolk, VA, Rachel Goodman (Delton) of Newton Grove, NC, Earbie Goodman Jr. (Vickie) of Franklinton, NC, Daniel Goodman (Jessica) of Clinton, NC and Teresa Manghane (Thomas) of Goldsboro, NC. She also leaves to cherish her memory, three brothers: Terry Patrick, Jimmie Patrick, and Dennis Patrick; her 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.
