Claudia Smith Torres, of Wilmington, NC, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 9, 2025.

Claudia was born on July 7th, 1974, in Houston, Texas, to the late Claudia Smith Garcia and Roy Torres. She obtained her high school diploma from Thomas Edison High School, graduating class of 1992. Claudia was known for her happy and uplifting spirit. Through life's toughest times she remained high spirited and always had a smile on her face that brought a sense of calm and joy to those around her.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328

Claudia leaves behind to cherish her precious memories her daughters: Tiffany Torres and Ruby Torres, both of Wilmington, NC; a brother: Roy Torres Jr. of San Antonio, TX; one nephew: Roy Gregory A. Torres of San Antonio, TX; and one grandchild: Alaina N. Pegues.
