Christine Baker

Born in Johnston County, NC to the late James Willard Benson and Maude Massey on February 16, 1946, Christine was a member of the Turkey Fire Department as an EMT on Medic 8. Christine had several hobbies they included, puzzles, word searches, cooking, and of course, she loved being a granny!

Many considered Christine to be the true definition of unconditional love and accepting of everyone. In addition to her parents, Christine is also preceded in death by one daughter, Cathy Lynn Baker and her four legged baby Little Bit.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm at Turkey Penticostal Freewill Baptist  Church on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, by the Rev. Bill Cotton officiating burial will follow at the Turkey Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held  from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.Wednesday, October 28, 2020,. Church followship hall.

Christine leaves behind to cherish her memories: husband of 57 years: Willie Baker of the home, daughter: Elaine Watkins and husband Allen of Turkey, NC, sons: Jamie Baker and wife Natalie of Kitty Fork, NC & Donnie Baker and wife Peggy of Fayetteville, NC, one special son: Travis Marsack and wife Emily,  grandchildren: Krystal Glover and husband Jaquahn of Fayetteville, NC, Byonca Autry and husband Corey of Warsaw, NC, David (Buddy) Watkins & Chris “Bubba” Watkins of Turkey, NC. She also leaves behind to cherish her memories her great-grandchildren: Kylie Marsack, Amy Marsack, Ava Marsack, Kayden Marsack, Bentley Marsack, Ivey Marsack, Ansley Marsack, Sierra Marsack, Yanissa Glover, Akira Glover, Cadence (Teddy Bear) Glover, and one special friend: Christine Ellis.
