Charles Franklin Long

Charles Franklin “Frankie” Long, 54, of 125 Manual Lane, Faison, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025, at his home. 

Charles was born in Sampson County on September 8, 1971 to the late Robert Long and Jean Bradshaw.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday evening, January 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service, 1246 Hobbton Highway, Clinton, North Carolina, with Reverend Ben Troublefield  officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Unity Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Newton Grove, North Carolina.

The family will receive friends following the service.

He is survived by his two sons, James Franklin Lockamy of Roseboro, and Joshua Andrews (wife, Taylor) of Fayetteville; his siblings, Sondra Long of Clinton and Tracy Toodle of Clinton; his special friends, Tony Joyner, Lisa Mooring, and Martin Boyette; along with five grandchildren: Camden Jackson, Haven Andrews, Lily Andrews, Elliot Smith, Kelahni Smith, and one additional grandchild on the way; cousin: Sonny Ann Long Preddy; nieces: Kayla Lockamy, Sierra Danielle Bright, and Jessy Joyner Smith; and nephew: Kevin McFarland.
