Cathy Ann New

Cathy Ann New 59, of 1406 Raleigh Rd., passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.

Cathy was born August 6, 1966 in Sampson County to Patricia Holder and the late Hurbert New Sr. Cathy worked at Walmart of Clinton and enjoyed watching cooking shows and spending time with her family, who she loved dearly. 

Celebration of Life to be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Bethany PFWB Church, 1068 Rackley Rd., Clinton, NC 28328.

The Family will visit in the chapel one hour prior to the service, 6:00-7:00 pm.

In addition to her father, Hurbert New Sr., Cathy was also preceded in death by her brother, Tommy New.

Cathy's memory will forever be cherished by the family she leaves behind. Cathy is survived by her mother: Patricia New of Clinton; siblings: Angela New of Clinton, Hubert 'Chip' New (Diane) of Mt. Olive, David New (Cindy) of Clinton, Jeffery New of Clinton, Robert New (Billie) of Autryville, and Debbie New Harrell (Mark) of Clinton; sister-in-law: Susan New of Goldsboro; and a host of nieces and nephews.
