Barbara (Addington) Phillips

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Barbara Phillips, age 70, of Roseboro, North Carolina. Barbara passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Kitty Askins Hospice in Goldsboro, NC.

Services are incomplete and will be announced by Hope Valley Hawkins.

Barbara was born on October 20, 1951, in South Carolina, a daughter of the late Richard Addington and Mary V. Farrior. She dedicated years of her life working as an inspector for M J Soffe. Barbara found joy in her work and was known for her diligence and attention to detail.

Barbara shared a beautiful and profound love with her husband, Gary Phillips. They were inseparable, partners in everything they did. To Gary, Barbara was the love of his life, his constant companion, and his indispensable right hand. The bond they shared was an inspiration to all who knew them.

Left to cherish the precious memory of Barbara are her husband: Gary Phillips, of the home; siblings: Frank Addington of Roseboro, NC and Peggy Bryant of California; and niece: Megan Johnson of Fayetteville, NC.

Barbara's memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will forever remain in our hearts. She leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and cherished moments.
