Mr. Bill was born in Macon County, Illinois in 1933 to the late Lewis and Agatha Volk Mundy, Veteran serving in United States Air Force in Korea and also Retired from Norfolk-Western Railroad, preceded in death by a son William (Bill) Mundy Jr. and a sister Rose Mary Durbin. Funeral Service will held 7:00 pm Tuesday September 11th 2012 at Hope Valley Funeral Chapel by Rev. Jeremy Aurty officiating, Burial will follow 10:00am Thursday September 13th 2012 in Sandhill State Veteran Cemetery in Spring lake NC.
