William McCrea 66 passed away on Friday, April 3, 2020 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

William McCrea was born April 11, 1953 to the late William McCrea Sr. and Rose Redmond. He grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from Philadelphia High School.

William work history  included House of Reaford in Rose Hill, NC and Guilford in Kenansville, NC, he retired from Guilford. Early in life he married the late Janet McCrea abd with that union they had two daughters; Niyah and Serenity. On June 27, 2013 William married Lisa Ann (Chestnutt) McCrea. He was proceded in death by one brother: Joel McCrea, one sister: Susan Redmond Cooper and a niece: Darinda Cooper.

William will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

A graveside service will be held at 2;00 pm on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Duplin Memorial Gardens, Teachey, NC.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Wife: Lisa Ann McCrea of the home.

Children: Niyah (Maurice) Dotson of Lilburn, GA and Serenity McCrea of the home. Step-Daughters: Jessica Autry of Raleigh, NC and Cynthia Ann Chestnutt, Grandchildren: Savannah Dotson, Jataviha Taylor, Janelle Moore, Anthony Moore and Darrell Moore, Brother: James Redmond of Philadelphia. Sisters-in-law: Alberta Chestnutt, Joshia "Tasha" Chestnutt, Carisa Watson, Shecrone Chestnutt, Brothers-in-law: Albert Wayne (Renora) Chestnutt, Tony Chestnutt. Special Niece: Aaniyah Scarborough, Special Cousins: Debra, Shake, Poo and Melvin, A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
