Wanda Nechelle Montague 50 of 502 Bryon Butler Court died April 2 2021 in Fayetteville.

Home Going Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton.

Wanda "Susie" Montague was born in Brooklyn, NY to Annie Garner and the late Herbert Garner.  She was raised in Clinton, NC by her Aunt the late Nettie A Smith. Susie loved to sing, dance and she played basketball for Union High School.  She earned her Medical Office Assistant degree in New York.  She spent most of her time smiling and making people happy.  She loved her grandkids very much.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband; Michael Montague. Children; Darryl Glenn, Broderick Moore and Ericka Moore. Brothers; Herbert James Garner, Donald Ray Garner, Anthony Garner and William Garner. Sister; the late Kay Washington, Marian Garner, Vicky Faircloth, Ronnie Kelly. Susie also leaves six grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and family and friends.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton.
