Walter Jerone Davis Sr. passed away peacefully surrounded by close family on April 14, 2024. Walter was born in Ridgeway SC on August 14, 1954, son of the late Robert Davis Sr. and Beatrice Barber Davis. He was reared by his late grandparents Eugne and Essie Davis.

He joined Lebanon Presbyterian Church at early age and was a lifetime member. He was a retired employee of Northfork Southern Railroad. Walter enjoyed fishing and singing on the church choir.

The Family will hold a Celebration of Walter's Life at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Lebanon Presbyterian Church, 667 US-21 Ridgeway, South Carolina.

Walter is survived by his brother: Robert Davis Jr. and late Carolyn Davis of Spartanburg, South Carolina. Walter was a proud father of four children: Walter Davis Jr. (Heather) of Benson, North Carolina, Elaina Davis of Lexington, South Carolina, Alex Davis (Janice) of Cassatt, South Carolina, Shana Davis-Johnson (Marvin) of Winnsboro, South Carolina.

In addition to his children, Walter leaves his cherished memories, niece: Sache't Davis (Ty'liah); his grandchildren: Markell Miller, XyAire Davis, Walter Davis, Kelby Miller, Kiersten Davis, Trinity Davis, Alex Davis, Colby Taylor, Malaysia Young, MarZyiah Johnson, Zayden Davis, and Luca Davis; Two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
