Surrounded by loved ones, Mr. Truman D. Royal (Pete), 87, peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 4, 2021.

Born December 31, 1933 in Sampson County, he was the son of the late Ivey D. Royal and Robetha Hollingsworth Royal.  Mr. Royal was preceded in death by his son, Bronzell Truman Royal. He farmed for many years, and was employed by Erwin Mills for 35 Years.

Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday December 7 2021  Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service 1246 Hobbton Hwy Clinton by Rev, Earl Kinlaw officiating, Burial will held privately at the family request.

Left to cherish his memory is his faithful and loving wife of 68 years, Delorus McLamb Royal; sons, Darrell Royal and William Royal both of Salemburg; four grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; a sister, Elizabeth Royal Spell, and many wonderful friends.

Family will receive family and friends after the funeral service.
