Tieshia was born on July 24th, 1999, in Clinton NC, to Melissa Ann Rich and Terry Ray Monk. She departed this earthly life on July 18 th , 2023.

Tieshia attended Roseboro City Schools and had plans to go back to school to obtain her GED. Tieshia enjoyed spending time with her kids and family. She had an infectious smile that would light up any room that she walked into. Tieshia will forever be a beautiful light in our hearts, and she will be missed dearly by many.

She was preceded in death by her great grandparents: James Osie Rich Sr, Verlie Jr Monk, Mary Helen Monk and her uncle; Linwood Dion Rich.

A Home Going service will take place at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Snow Hill Missionary Baptist Church, located at 531 Marion-Amos Rd, Roseboro, NC 28382. Burial will follow in Bearskin Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 4721 Bearskin Rd, Clinton, NC 28328.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 28, 2023 from 2:00-5:00 pm, with family present fom 5:00-6:00 pm, at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.

Tieshia leaves to cherish her precious memories: her four children: Javion, Ja'Layia, Jabari and Ja'Hailey Fisher all of the home; Joesph Fisher( fiancé -love of her life); mother Melissa Ann Rich, of Roseboro, NC; father, Terry Ray Monk of Bearskin, NC; her siblings, Brylan Monk of Roseboro, NC; Za'Kyra Monk of Roseboro, NC; Linwood Monk of Roseboro, NC; Rayona Monk of Roseboro, NC; Christian Warren of Roseboro NC; Caleb Monk of Roseboro NC; and Elizabeth Carr of Roseboro, NC. Her grandmothers Gloristine Rich of Salisbury NC; Cynthia Diane Williams of Roseboro, NC; grandfathers Linwood Mathis (Claudia Mathis) of Garland, James Ray Murphy (Connie) of Clinton NC; and her great grandmother, Essie Mae Rich; aunts Gloris Harris (Jamar Harris) of Spencer, NC, Cainis Rich of Salisbury, NC and Shonna Rich of Salisbury, NC; as well as a host of cousins, great aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
