On June 29, 2022 at 5:30 am, God sent his angels to the home of our beloved father, brother and friend Thomas Jones 42, to bring him home to his kingdom.

Born on February 20th, 1980 in Sampson County to the late Cathy Monk and Johnny Jones. Thomas attended Sampson County Schools during his younger years and obtained his GED later in life. Thomas was his own entrepreneur dabbling in many small businesses. He loved life. Thomas enjoyed his family and friends, was always the life of the party, and was a true comedian at heart.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday July 8, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328. Burial will follow at Bearskin Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery located at 4721 Bearskin Rd, Clinton, NC 28328.

Visitation will take place from 2:00-7:00 pm, family present from 6:00-7:00 pm, on Thursday July 7, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328.

Thomas is preceded in death by his father: Johnnie Jones; mother: Cathy Monk; eldest brother: James Powell; aunts: Jennie Laster and Victory Murphy; and uncles: James Bailey and Edward Bailey.

He leaves to cherish his legacy two daughters: Myasia Fishbauch and Marquasia Jones; one son: Thomas Edward Jones Jr.; two grandchildren: Kamiyah Brown and Khylige Brown; one sister: April Jones of Roseboro, NC; one brother: Johnnie Jones of Roseboro, NC; special uncle: Thomas Bailey Jr. (Sharon) of Roseboro, NC; special cousins: Aurelia Laster, Louise Nicholson, Kevin Murphy and Ambrose Laster; as well as a host of special friends and family.
