In 1944 Thomas was born in Sampson County to the late Jimmy Franklin and Carrie Leon Simmons Jackson,. He enjoyed fishing and raising chickens. Thomas was preceded in death by a sister Callie Jackson and a brother Bernice Jackson. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Tyndall Grove Pentecostal Church with Pastor Larry Barnhill officiating, burial will follow in the Spell/Tyndall Cemetery.
