Therese Holmes Burke 62 passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

Therese was born in Cumberland County on November 14, 1959 to the late Sherwood and Brenda Holmes. Therese loved going to the beach and crocheting in her free time.

A Visitation will be at 12:00 pm Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328.

Those Therese leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband Thomas Burke of the home; their children Andrew Horne of South Carolina, Rebecca Burke of Fayetteville, NC,  Thomas D. Burke of New Jersey, Jada Green Jack of Nevada, Shane Wright of New York and Timothy James Burke of New York; siblings Sherwood Holmes II of South Carolina and Constance Holmes of Fayetteville, NC. Therese also leaves behind 18 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
