Stanley Sutton Sr. 62 of 4771 Bearskin Road died Saturday December 9, 2017 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

Stanley was born May 3, 1955 in Sampson County, NC to the late Walter & Mary Ella (Parker) Sutton. He graduated Clinton High School in 1973.He joined Bearskin Missionary Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of Rev. R. W. Lowe. Stanley enjoyed fishing, playing with his grandchildren. He had a special name for each of his grandchildren. He loved his children and family. Stanley is preceded in death by a sister: Glenda Pope.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Bearskin Missionary Baptist Church, 4721 Bearskin Rd, Clinton, NC with Rev. Albert Kirby officiating.

Stanley is survived by: Sons; Albert (Aris) Sutton of Barberton, Ohio and Stanley TT "Scooter" (Nekitta) Sutton of Clinton, NC, Daughters: Yonnie, Ashley, Jazmine Michelle Sutton of Fayetteville, Twelve grandchildren, Brothers: Walter (Lila) Sutton and Larry Sutton of Clinton, NC, Sister: Ella Jean (Harry) Graham, aunt: Nansun Sutton of Fayetteville, NC. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and a special friend Rhonda Herring.

The Sutton family will receive friends after the service and other times at 4771 Bearskin Road Clinton NC
