Stacy Deshawn Herring 35, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023 in Charlotte, NC.

Stacy was born on May 28th, 1988 to Bernice Herring and the late Julia B. Hill. Stacy lost his mother in 2012. He went on to live with his father, Bernice Herring.

Stacy attended Lakewood High School and later moved to Charlotte, NC, where he then started his own family. Stacy had four children: Shacree, Jayden, Julia, and Stacey.

Stacy enjoyed spending time with his kids and family. He loved music and often wrote his own music in his freetime. He had a smile that would light up any room that he walked into. Stacy was and will forever be a beautiful light in our hearts and he will be missed dearly by many.

Home Going Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. Burial will follow in Sandhill Cemetery, 3 Sampson Street, Clinton, NC 28328.

There will be a walk through visitation prior to the service from 10:00 am-2:00 pm at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.

Stacy is preceded in death by his mother, Julia B. Hill and his sister, Ieisha Hill.

Stacy leaves behind to cherish his precious memories: his father, Bernice Herring of Fayetteville, NC; his four children all of Charlotte, NC; his siblings, Allene Hill of Washington DC, Shquan Hill of Gastonia, NC, Alondious Hill of Maryland, Stephanie Stepney of Eclectic, AL and Ronnie Herring of Charlotte, NC; his brother, Bernice Herring Jr. of Seattle, WA; as well as a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and many many others.

Stacy Deshawn Herring, you will forever be embedded in our hearts. We love you, but Jesus loved you more!
