Shelby Pearsall, age 74, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2026, at her home in Roseboro, North Carolina.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 in the Pearsall Family Cemetery, located 14816 NC 210 Hwy. South, Roseboro, NC.

Shelby was born in Johnston County on May 29, 1951 to the late Felt Jackson and Christine Penny. She was a devoted homemaker who cherished her family and home. Her favorite colors were blue and purple. She found joy in the simple beauty of everyday life—fishing, tending to flowers, and spending treasured time with her grandchildren. She also adored her beloved furry companions, Coco and Timberwolf.

Shelby was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert Pearsall, and her siblings Roy Jackson, Velma Jackson, Minnie Ann Parker, David Jackson, and Ray Jackson.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion in the hearts of her daughter, Amy Avery of Clinton, NC; her Son, Timothy Avery of Clinton, NC; her nieces, Glenda Jackson of Benson, NC, and Marie Jackson of Dunn, NC; and her cherished grandchildren: Rylee Castellon, Wyatt Strickland, Luis Castellon, Barbara Castellon, Alifonsa Garcia, Jose Garcia, and Josh Avery.

Shelby's gentle spirit, her love of life's simple beauties, and her unwavering devotion to family will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
