Shaina Brooklyn Bass 31 of 118 Heath Street, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at her home.

Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 in the Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. Pastor Dwight Sessoms, officiating.

Visitation will take place 6:00-8:00 pm, on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 within the Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel.

Born on February 28, 1995, in Cumberland County, Shaina was the beloved daughter of Jimmy Lee Bass and Teresa Fuller Bass. She was a vibrant and outgoing soul, whose presence brightened the lives of everyone she encountered.

Shaina worked at Walmart, where she was known for her friendly demeanor and her contagious smile. Her favorite colors were pink and Carolina blue, reflections of her bright and cheerful spirit. She had a special fondness for turtles and sunflowers, symbols of her gentle nature and her love for the simple beauties of life.

Above all, Shaina cherished her role as a mother. Her daughter, Lynnsey Haven Raines, was the light of her life and the center of her world.

Shaina was preceded in death by her sister, Jennifer Alcorta Smith; her paternal grandfather, Jimmy Bass; her maternal grandfather, William Fueller; and her maternal grandmother, Floy Lela Beck Fueller. Though they are no longer with us, we take comfort in knowing they are together once more.

Shaina's memory will be lovingly cherished by her parents, Jimmy and Teresa Bass of the home; her beloved daughter, Lynnsey Haven Raines of the home; her sisters, Veronica Alcorta of Clinton and Alanna Strouth of Clinton; and her paternal grandmother, Edna Bass of Clinton. She will also be missed by numerous family members, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Shaina's passing leaves a void that will never be filled, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
