Born in Sampson County on March 20, 1945 to the late Oscar Parker and Hattie Farmer Parker, she is preceded in death by son Ernest Rhodes, daughter Cynthia Lee Rhodes, grandson Ernest Rhodes II, Kenny Parker and special friend Fred McCloud. A home going service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Roseboro Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Ray Bolton officiating, burial will follow in the Bearskin Cemetery.
