On Saturday, January 29, 2022, God looked down from his throne upon Russell tired and weary body.

Russell Lee Beamon was born on November 13, 1963, to the late Lessie Mae Gilchrist and Bill Russell in Sampson County. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lessie Mae Gilchrist. Stepdaughter; Kiara Williams. Sisters; Regina Beamon and Felicia Beamon.

A Home Going service will take place at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. Burial to follow at Sandhill Cemetery, 3 Sampson St, Clinton, NC 28328.

As he departs this life, he leaves to treasure his memories, his wife, Lora Beamon. His daughter; Jacqueline Williams of Clinton, NC. Stepchildren; Judy Murray of Clinton, NC and Michael Williams (Shonta) of Fayetteville, NC. Sister; Tammy Gilchrist of Clinton, NC. Nephews; Christopher Gilchrist, Emjay Graham, & Joshua Gilchrist all of Clinton, NC. Grandchildren; Tytiana & Douglas Williams of Fayetteville, NC, Omarion Whitted, Zylan Warren, Ta'kiya Warren all of Clinton, NC, and Nikyia Wiggins of Cary, NC.

A Walk Thru will be held from 1:00-6:00 pm, family present from 5:00-6:00 pm on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.
