Born on March 1, 1939 in Sampson County, North Carolina to the late Lee & Jennie Mae Lewis. Rodney was the owner and operator of R & S Elctrical in Dudley, N.C. He attended Dudley Christian Church. Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Sue Lewis, sister: Carolyn Hesbitt and brothers: Leroy Lewis and Billy Ray Lewis. Funeral service will be held on 11:00 am Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service & Cremation of 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, N.C. with Rev. Darin Parker officiating, burial will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens. Rodney leaves to cherish his memories; Rodney Lewis Jr. of Clinton, N.C. Lynn Williams of Clinton, N.C.
