Rayford was born in Sampson County in 1954 to the late Louis Crawford and Callie Mae Herring. He was preceded in death by his sister Mildred Smith. A Home Going Service will be held 1:00pm Friday, September 13, 2013 at Olivet Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Bowen officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Hills Cemetery.
