Randy was born in 1957 in Jefferson County, New York to Glenn Raymond Thatcher and the late Virginia Rose Campbell Thatcher. He served in the U.S. Army from 1974 until 1982. Randy was preceded in death by grandparents; George & Agnes Thatcher, brother; Robert (Bob) Thatcher. Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Duncan Church of God, 1066 Oakridge Duncan Road, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526 with Pastor Ricky Jones officiating, burial will follow in the church cemetery.
