Patrice Ann DeLorey was born on August 7, 1958 in Alexandria, Virginia to the late Estelle and Kenneth Bourne. She was called home on Monday, March 1, 2021. Patrice, fondly known as "Tricie", forged her own life journey with the faith and knowledge that God was always with her even in her darkest times. Tricie attended Glenarden Baptist Church where she was also baptized. Later, she became a Prophetess at Joyful Noise Holy Tabernacle in Tampa, Florida. No matter where she lived, Tricie would always find a church to worship. Tricie's joyful spirit and compassion for others was given freely. She always had a kind word, and constantly quoted from the Bible. She never met a stranger and often befriended the homeless. Not only did she love people, dogs were her "other babies." At one time, she had eight "babies." When her home was broken into, she was in a panic until she found her dogs safely hidden under the bed. Not once did she think about the material items taken, it was all about her dogs. Tricie was blessed to have two families. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her dad, Clinton Allen; brother, Keith Bourne and sister, Carolyn Green. Patrice leaves to rejoice in her memory, her husband of 23 years, Joe DeLorey of Boston, MA..; 2 sons, Maxwell "Butch" Taylor and Emanuel Taylor both of Baltimore, MD; 2 daughters, Sharon Harris of Gilbert, KY and Porscha Taylor of Baltimore, MD; 2 stepchildren, Crystal and Christopher Delorey both of Tampa Fl.; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grand children; 4 brothers, Kenneth Bourne of Fayetteville, NC; Robert Bourne (Shirley) of Charlottesville, VA; Kent Allen(Lottie) and Marcus Allen both of VA; 5 sisters, Elaine Williams (Danny) of Dallas, TX; Tanya Allen (Jimmy) of VA. Virgina Cole of Nathalie, VA. Penny Allen of Annaoplis, MD and Gail Green of VA; special cousin and confidant, Cindy Watts (Matt) of Upper Marlboro, MD, and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends that will miss her greatly.
