Thursday, March 28, 2013 Clinton, Nellie Jane Kivette McKenzie, 101, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord & Savior on the evening of March 27, 2013 at her residence. A lifetime resident of Sampson County, Ms. McKenzie was born to the late William & Lura Wells. She was preceded in death by her husband, Murd Butler McKenzie and daughter, Ann McKenzie. She is survived by her son, Jimmy McKenzie; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 10:30am, Friday, March 29, 2013, at Clinton City Cemetery, W. Elizabeth St, Clinton, NC. Rev. Craig Autry will be officiating. Visitation will follow at the home of Jim & Jennifer Workman, 1120 White Oak Church Rd, Clinton, NC.
