With hearts profoundly heavy and spirits deeply burdened, we remember and honor the brief but precious life of Miss Zeilanie Brooklyn Medina, who was born and called home on June 3, 2026. Though her time with us was fleeting, the love and hope she inspired will resonate infinitely within the hearts of those who held her dear.

Zeilanie entered this world at Novant Health in Wilmington, North Carolina, where her journey began and, heartbreakingly, ended on the very same day. Her arrival was a beacon of joy and promise for her parents, Jeanna Hall and Joe Medina of Warsaw, NC, and for her cherished siblings—Maya, Noah, Emanuel Medina, and Dyllan Hall—who shared her home and her love. Alongside her immediate family, the comforting presence of her maternal grandmother, Zona Hall of Salemburg, NC, and paternal grandmother, Yolanda Medina of Clinton, NC, stood faithfully by her side.

In this time of sorrow, we also remember her late grandfather, Ronald Hall, whose memory now joins the silent chorus welcoming Zeilanie into eternal peace.

A graveside service will be held to honor Zeilanie’s memory on June 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM, in the Wiley Autry Cemetery, located at 4474 Autryville Road, Autryville, NC 28318. 

Though Zeilanie’s earthly presence was brief, the depth of her impact—a tender emblem of love, hope, and the fragile beauty of life—will be forever etched in the hearts of her family and all who mourn her passing. In the quiet and gentle moments, her spirit will remain a poignant reminder of the irreplaceable bond between a family and their beloved child. May her memory be a blessing and a light in the days ahead.
