Minnie Lee Bryant 67 of 3545 NC Hwy. 11 passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016 at her home.
A Home Going service will be held 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Oakey Plain Baptist Church in Wallace with Pastor Wendell Newton officiating, burial will follow in the Murray Cemetery on Jackdale Road in Wallace.
Minnie Lee Bryant, 67 was born February 27, 1948 to Mrs. Letha Robinson Bennerman and the late Anthony Bradshaw, she was later adopted into a loving home by the late Elsie Bryant Weatherspoon and the late Sam Weatherspoon. Minnie departed this life earthly life on January 24,2016.
She was educated in the Duplin County Public School System. Minnie confessed to Christ at an early age. She joined Oakey Plain Baptist Church in Wallace, North Carolina.
Later Minnie moved to Brooklyn, New York with the help of her cousins Vanese Fennell and Horace Fennell. She worked as a telephone operator (Bell-Atlantic-Verizon) for over 30 years. She retired and moved back to Wallace, North Carolina whre she worked as a United States Postal worker. She retired 10 years to relax and enjoy her time with Vanese. She enjoyed working and spending time with her family. Minnie was preceded in death by her father Anthony Anthony Bradshaw adoptive parents Elsie Bryant Weatherspoon and Sam Weatherspoon brothers Edward Bryant, William Bennerman, Cecil Bennerman Jr., Charles Bennerman and Donnell Bennerman
She leaves to cherish her memories:

Special Cousins: Vanese (Horace) Fennell, Lawrence (Veronica) Fennell, LaTonya (Chris) Fennell-Dixon and Nadine Lucas
Special Friend: Lakeisha Yellock
A host of nieces,nephew, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Oakey Plain Baptist Church in Wallace.
