Minister Larry Bivens 72, of 300 Jean Lane, passed away Friday, February 24, 2023 at New Hanover Regional.

Larry Bivens was a devoted minister of the gospel in which he was very passionate about. He loved God wholeheartedly and always had an encouraging word or scripture for everyone. He had love for everyone that crossed his path. He was a devoted husband to his beautiful wife of 27 years, Ethelene Bivens and a father to 4 sons, Maurice Royal, Willie Lee Royal, John Clifton Royal, and Henry Anthony Royal. He is loved by all and will be missed by many.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park, 2809 US-421, Clinton, NC 28328.
