Miles Ansel Morrissey 68, died Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.

Miles was born on December 7, 1955 in Cumberland County.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Miles is preceded in death by his mother: Betty OcFalle; his father: Oscar E. Jackson Sr.; stepmother: Faye Jackson; brother: J.R. Jackson; and sister: Sharon Jackson Davis.

Miles is survived by his wife: Lois Adams; son: Brian Morrissey; daughter: Christy Lafferty; stepdaughters: Tracy White and Angie Arrington; his sisters: Sarah Morales, Sherie Page, Shelia Hare, Penny Green, Pam Reed, Robbie Adams, Bobbie Morton, and Lisa Rodriguez; 4 grandchildren: Riley, Sierra, Jackson, and Blaze; and a host of nieces and nephews.
