Michael Richard Froehlich Sr., 69 passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at his home.

Michael was born January 21, 1953 in Tecumseh, Michigan to the late Maurice Froehlich and Mary Elizabeth Stevenson. He graduated from Hardee High in 1970 and went on to obtain another 2 years of education from the Army in 1972. He served his country as a member of the United States Army for 1 ½ year. After his service Michael was employed by Southern Produce where he worked as maintenance for 9 years. In May of 1990 he married Kimberly Ann Froehlich and they enjoyed 32 years as husband and wife. Michael loved to give life advice to others and valued hard work. When he had down time he enjoyed coaching ball games, fishing, hunting, and welding.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Maurice Froehlich; his mother Mary Elizabeth Stevenson; and his sister Gloria Froehlich.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. Burial will follow at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Rd, Goldsboro, NC 27534.

Visitation will take place prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 am at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328.

Left to cherish Michael's memory is his loving wife: Kimberly Froehlich of the home; his daughters: Ashley Froehlich of Seven Springs, NC, Samantha Hewett (Jacob Hewett) of Warsaw, NC, Louissa Bailey (Corey Bailey) of Greenville, TN; sons: Michael Froehlich Jr. of Faison and Timothy Manus (Stacey Manus) of Avon Park, FL; his sister: Teresa Paulins of Ohio; 6 grandchildren: Taylor Brown, Dana Richardson, Daniel Richardson, Sean Manus, Drake Manus, and Tymber Wallace; 4 great grandchildren; his best friend Don Pate; and good friend Johnny Bell.
