Michael Anthony Brunson 60, (known as Biscuit) departed this life on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Kissito Health And Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw, NC. He was born in Sampson County to the late Franklin Brunson and Virginia Barnes Brunson on June 24, 1961. Michael was a graduate of Union High School. In his early years he attended Wilson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Turkey, NC. He was affiliated with Sampson County Public School System from 1978 to 1999. He drove trucks for Lucas Farms for many years until his health started to decline.

Michael is preceded in death by his father Frank,his mother Virginia, his grandmother Fannie Barnes and two brothers, Larry and Herbert Barnes.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Wilson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery 4771 New Hope Church Rd, Turkey, NC 28393.

A Walk Thru visitation will be held from 1-6:00 pm on Friday, October 1, 2021 with family present from 5-6:00 pm at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328.

Michael leaves to cherish his memories: his son Michael Anthony Brunson Jr. of Clinton Nc, Five brothers: Ronnie Brunson (Lavern)  Andrew Chestnutt (Glenda),Samuel Brunson  all of Turkey, Nc, Charles Barnes (Rosie)  of Fayettville,Nc and Jon Brunson of Swan Quarter, Nc, two sisters: Marsha Bell of Turkey, Nc and Flora Caraway (Harry) of Magnolia, Nc, one aunt: Flossie Miller one uncle: Nate Simmons Both of Turkey, Nc, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The Family would like to thank Kissito Healthcare, Lucas Farming Corporation, Wilson Chapel Church Family, and the friends and loved ones who have been a comfort during this time of loss.
