Tuesday April 30, 2013 Salemburg, McArthur McBride, 62, of 1732 Butler Rd, Salemburg, died Friday morning, April 26, 2013, at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill. He was born in Sumter, SC, on September 24, 1950, to the late Heartwell Jones and Lucille McBride. Mr. McBride was the owner and operator of McBride Trucking of Salemburg. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday May 1, 2013, at Jackson Grove Bible Church of God, 82 Sinclair Lake Rd, Newton Grove. Bishop T. J. Tart will be officiating. Friends may call on the family beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in the Crusade for Christ Deliverance Cemetery, 815 Taylor's Chapel Rd, Dunn. Mr. McBride is survived by his wife, Katie McBride of the home; His daughter, Carol Murphy of Newton Grove; His sons, Steven McBride and Payton McBride, both of Salemburg; Brothers, Howard Jones of South Carolina and James Jones of Salemburg; and Sisters, Margaret Hobbs and Dorothy Edwards, both of South Carolina.
