May Lesh,85,of Roseboro, NC, wen to be home with the Lord on Wednesday May 6, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

May was born in Crossville, TN on May 9, 1940 to the late Wesley and Mary Jane Green. She was a long time resident of St. Peterburg, Florida, married to the late William Lesh, before coming to live with her daughter and family. 

She is preceded in death by her brothers: Luther Green, Lee Green, Henry Green, Junior Green, Bobby Green and her sister: Gail Pugh.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter: Teresa Petty (Michael) of Roseboro NC; four grandchildren: Ashley (Bobby) Williams, Allison Boone of Ashboro, NC, Ryan (Kim) Petty of Spring Lake, NC, and Alex Santiful of Poquoson, VA; one great granddaughter: Emily Williams; and one great-great grandson: Vincent K. Williams. She also leaves one brother: Donnie Green of Crossville, TN; sisters: Marcie Dyke of Hemet, CA, Edie (Gary) of Dunnellon, FL, Sharon (Bud) Bell of Crystal River, FL.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday June 29, 2026 at 12pm at Stedman Baptist Church, 7750 Clinton Road Stedman NC 28391. The Family will receive friends from 10am to 11am.
