Mrs. Mae Rose Faison Roach 66, was born on December 19, 1956 in Clinton, NC to the late Luther Devane "L.D." Faison and Scottie Ree Armwood Faison of Clinton, NC. She departed this life on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Sampson Regional Hospital in Clinton, NC.

Mae Rose received her education from the Clinton City School system. She was employed with Lundy's Packing Co. and Whisper Knits until she retired. At an early age, Mae Rose joined Andrews Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Clinton, NC, where she was an active and faithful member of the church until her health began to fail. She served as president of the senior choir and whenever she was needed within the church.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328.

Visitation will be from 1:00-6:00 pm on Friday, March 11, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328.

Along with her parents, Mae Rose was preceded in death by her brothers Fletcher Faison and Lorenzo Faison.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Kenneth; daughters Yolonda Morrison of Florida and Charmaine also of Florida; son Kenneth of Clinton, grandsons Malcol of Wilmington, NC, Malik of Flagstaff, AZ, Wyatt of Nashville, TN; three great grandchildren Malia, Rosellena, and one on the way, Malik Jr., all of Flagstaff, AZ; sister Annie Faison Melvin of Clinton; brother Antonio (Audrey) of Roseboro; sister-in-law Evangelist Frances Faison of Clinton; three aunts Joyce Warren (Randolph) of New Haven, CT, Linda Maker of Seaford, DE and Jennifer Faison Moore (William) of Bridgeville, DE; and two uncles Jay Armwood (Elizabeth) of Bridgeville, DE and Terry Armwood (Ruth) of Sandy Creek, NY. Mae Rose will also be forever remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
