MT. OLIVE — Mackie Lyn Rogers, 55, passed away at his home on Monday, Nov. 29, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

There will be a visitation held on Thursday, Dec. 2, from 6-8 p.m. at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at Blackman's Grove Church, by Pastor Ricky Lee officiating, Burial will follow at Stoney Run PFWB Church, located at 12481 Harnett-Dunn Hwy, Dunn, NC 28334.

Mackie Lyn Rogers was born June 7, 1966 in Lumberton, NC. He was a dedicated Father, Husband, and Son. He leaves behind a legacy and memory to cherish by his Wife: Cheri Rogers of the home; Children: Michael Christopher Rogers Sr. of Godwin, NC, Andrew Scott Rogers of Harnett County, NC, Samantha Adams and husband Dale of Illinois, Thomas Rupe of Iowa, Tracy Betchley of Iowa, Cory Betchley and wife Chasity of Erwin, NC, Dustin Gipson and wife Candice of Godwin, NC, and Keith Allen Rogers and wife Tamara of Mississippi; Mother: Frances Thompson and his stepfather Jerry; Siblings: Little Joe Rogers and wife Diane, Terry Rogers and wife Amy, Patty Royal and husband Allen, and James Rogers; and 18 grandchildren.
