Macie Faison Crawford 81 passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at her home.

Macie received her formal education in the Sampson County public school system. She was a farm and factory worker for many years. Macie was a devoted wife and mother of six children that she loved dearly.

Macie is preceded in death by her husband Louis Ceal Crawford, three brothers; Johnny B. Faison, Arthur Lee Faison and Malachi Faison and one sister Addie Wilson-Parish.

Home Going services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, with Rev. Dr. Bobby Lamb officiating, burial will follow in the Sandhill Cemetery.

Macie leaves to cherish in her memory to her six children: Olivia Martin (Edward) of Goldsboro, NC., Bobby Ray McLamb (Wanda) of Rose Hill, nC., Deborah Rouse (Sam) of Clinton, NC., Mary McLamb (Joe) of Clinton, NC., Sherry McLamb of Clinton, NC. And Travis Crawford (Telisa) of Clinton, NC., Two sisters: Mattie Chavis of Clinton, NC. And Alice Faison of Clarksville, MD, one brother: Larry Faison of Clinton, NC. Seventeen Grandchildren, Twenty-three Great-Grandchildren and One Great-Great-Grandchild. Macie also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

A public walk thru will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm with family present from 5;00 pm – 6:00 pm.
