Luther was born on July 21, 1944 in Marlboro County, S.C. to the late Luther Eugene Pegues Sr and Louise Ratliff Pegues. Luther enjoyed shooting guns, fishing and working on tractors. He is preceded in death by Son: Tony Pegues and Brother: Johnny Pegues A home going service will be held at 1:00 pm. on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church 4442 Bonnetsville Rd. Clinton N.C. officiating by Bishop Varnie Fullwood.Burial will follow at the Roseboro Cemetery.
