Linda Ann Hodgett 75 passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton, NC.

Born in Lincoln County, Missouri in 1942 to the late Walter Nichols and Martha Womble Pierce, she was a graduate from University High School in St. Louis, Missouri. Linda spent her time as a secretary for Parkland College, she had a talent for interior designing and a great love for animals especially her cat Bella. She was raised in Truxton, Mo. by her grandparents. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents Mr. Walter L. Womble and Mrs. Martha Ann Womble.

Her husband of 48 years: James Hodgett of Champaign, Illinois

Son: William F. Hodgett of Dunn, NC

Step-Daughter: Vicky J. McKenzie of Illinois

Sisters: Lavonne Hayes and husband Harvey of Newton Grove, NC

Rosalind Nichols of Troy, Missouri

Brother: Nolan Pierce and wife Karen of Port Richey, Fl.

A host of nieces & nephew and great nieces & nephews.

All services will be held in Illinois.
