Linda (Horne) Davis 71, of 3184 Big Pine Dr., passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

The Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, July 7, 2023 at Crystal Spring Chapel, 1400 Crystal Springs Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28306. Pastor Bruce Suggs, officiating.

Visitation with family and friends will be held at Crystal Spring Chapel, 2:00-3:00 pm, prior to the service.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband: Weldon Jene Davis; son: Weldon Jay Davis; father: David Horne; mother: Ettie Horne; brothers: Billy Suggs, Thurman Suggs, James Suggs, Jessie Horne, and David Earl Horne; and sisters: Ellen Sutton, Margie Kirskey and Glenda Jackson.

Those left to cherish Linda's memory include her daughter: Renee Davis of Hope Mills; 1 granddaughter: Deleney of Florida; Bertie Godwin of Roseboro; Andrea Hudson of Roseboro, a host of nieces and nephews; special friends: Chris York and Roberta Fance. In addition, Linda was well loved by her church family. She will be greatly missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
