In accordance with our Heavenly Father’s plan, Lillie Juanita Williams, 76 was called home on Saturday, June 20, 2026. After hearing the voice of her Father, she answered, took his hand and left it all.
A Home Going Service will be held on Saturday June 27, 2026 at 1pm at Lisbon Street Missionary Baptist Church, located at 401 Lisbon St, Clinton, NC 28328. Burial will follow at Sandhill Cemetery, 3 Sampson St., Clinton, NC. The Family will hold a Repast following the at 5234 Keener Rd., Clinton, NC 28328.
A Walk Through will be held on Friday June 26, 2026 from 2pm to 6pm, with family present from 5pm to 6pm, at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC.
Lillie was born December 6, 1949, to the late Elbert Lee Fryar and Anna Goodman Fryar. Lillie attended Hargrove High School where she graduated in 1969. She worked at Devil Dog Sewing Factory located in Newton Grove, NC and Hamilton Beach in Clinton, NC until her health slowly began to decline. Lillie loved working in her flower garden, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Because she never met a stranger, her home became the community home and she became their mother figure as well.
Lillie is preceded in death by her daughter, Nanet Williams; granddaughter, Christian Williams; nephew, Lenwood (‘Scooter’) Fryar; son-in-law, Charles Howard, and aunt, Thelma Fryar.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her former Husband, Samuel Williams Jr. and her three children, Adriene Howard, Timtory Williams, and Amy Williams. Lillie also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Lillie also leaves behind:
Brothers & Sisters-Hubert Fryar (Lora), Mary Craddock, William Fryar, Larry Fryar (Shirley), Joyce Moses (Eddie), Delores Simmons, Elbert Fryar, and Jennifer Ramsey.
Grandchildren-Whitney Pendergraft, Desiree Howard, Alexis Lewis, RaQuan Howard, and Jaylin Lewis.
Great Grandchildren-I’zayveon Williams, Zi’Unique Jackson, Za’Niya Pendergraft, Bright Livingston, Zamar Livingston, and Azrah Livingston.
Bonus Sisters-Ruby Ann Bowden and Evelyn Thompson.
