Lannis Melvin 32 passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 1, 2018 at St. John Baptist Church in Ville Platte, LA, for Mr. Lannis Melvin, 32. Interment will be in Soileau Cemetery. Mr. Melvin is survived by his parents, Theresa Melvin Valmore (David) of Ville Platte, LA & Lannis Serie (Angela) of Mamou, LA; five children, Cherish Sambolah, Amari Sambolah, Lannis Sambolah all of Sulphur, LA, Jordyn Melvin of Redding, CA and Zion Melvin of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Marquita Melvin of Ports Mounth, VA and Anginita Anderson of Mamou, LA; a brother, Eli Anderson of Mamou, LA; two Godchildren, Zai'lon Melvin and Amyriah Melvin both of Jacksonville, FL and a host of extended family members and friends. Mr. Melvin was preceded in death by his family. Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday, June 1, 2018 at St. John Baptist Church.
